We have had a pretty good spring down here in WNC this year. Had the opportunity to do a good bit of creeking thanks to the rain and the ground staying saturated. Now that its starting to get warmer too its beginning to become time to do some playboating too. During the spring we were able to hit up the Nanty Cascades a couple of times with some decent flows. Its a nice little three quarter mile stretch of class 4 to 5 whitewater depending on the level and the level also changes the continuousness of the rapids. The picture to the left is the first rapid which is the Horns of God which involves a top drop of like 8 feet and then slides down another ten feet after a small pool.Ty Alex and myself made a little trip out to the Green yesterday at a nice 9/9.5 and here is the footage from that day. Aside from that its looking like a good summer down here so far and hopefully it will hold.
